It's 1969. Which do you think you'd enjoy more: 5 minutes with Jerry or 50 minutes with Mick?

When the stories began to filter down, I would gladly have given my 50 minutes with Mick to the local HA Chapter. In retrospect, I can say I am happy that encounter didn't occurred.

Yep,

Ol Mick "appears" to be full of himself in this clip or perhaps more professional, the "Rock n Roll" heirarcy back in the day when average folks became royalty in overnight sensation add to the mix the timing of LSD, Television and the Ed Sullivan show and there you have it; "it all boiled down to who sold more records and had more airplay programmed by the record companies cash back in the day".

Jer and the boys knew they were in a sacred satanic presence and if Sir Mick had fallen unto their evil prey the evening would have turned out differently;

Thank God for the Dead they backed off this evening in the San Joaquin Valley, aka Altamont.

"an evening to remember!".

Poncho Jerry is great, but Mickey's stache is priceless in that clip.

I hear 'ya. And the way MacIntyre(?) strides into the frame, with his briefcase, is priceless. He looks like a cartton character.

People will do anything for their 15 seconds of fame!!

I think I'll go get a mullet and apply for the Springer show.

Thanks, Rich. I got sucked into the Jerry Springer Youtube vortex. It took me an hour before I could escape. (Apparently, watching Tyra Banks yell at Britney Spears was enough to break the bonds of time-suck inertia.)
